Leadership

Leadership is the ability to influence and imact change.  As highlighted in our mission statement, we wish to use our knowledge of Chinese Boxing to improve and value add to our local community.  The paradox of the Martial Arts is that they create peaceful, responsible and committed individuals with a strong sense of family.

To date we have been involved in a number of community events such as:

In considering Youth Development, we offer a strength based approach that provides:

  • A Stable place where young people feel safe
  • High quality instruction and training
  • Healthy relationships with peers and adults
  • High expectations and standards
  • Role models, resources and networks
  • Challenging experiences and opportunities to participate

Half of the founding members of our association are under the age of 25.  Our Senior Committee Members hold executive positions in both the public and private sector.

We also know that this Chinese Art has much to offer Seniors and would welcome opportunities to share the internal form of the art with interested groups.

Some of our successes in growing our club and outreaching to the community has been made available through the following grant providers.  We thank them for their support and confidence.
